High Sierra Workshops, LLC operates under permit and authorization from the National Park Service (NPS), U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for all workshops that occur on federal land, and with the State of California for all workshops that occur on state lands. Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA), Outfitter Guide Permits, and Special Use Permits (SUP) are granted annually by the respective agencies upon review of said workshops' operating plan, land use plan, safety procedures and leave no trace policy.
